AIST unveils its dancing female humanoid at the Digital Content Expo in Japan
The HRP-4C is five feet two inches tall, weighs almost ninety-five pounds, and resembles an average young Japanese female. AIST states their HRP-4C fembot moves like a human and responds through the process of speech recognition. To demonstrate the abilities of the HRP-4C at the 2010 Digital Content Expo, a dance performance was choreographed using the HRP-4C as the dancing lead singer along with four "real" dancing human females.
